Structural Engineering
Structural drafting and Revit modeling through design development and construction documentation, coordinated so the framing you design is the framing that fits.
Structural practices use us for the production hours that sit between analysis and issue. You size the members and make the engineering calls; we build the model and produce the drawings, working to your details and your drafting conventions.
What we deliver
- Structural drafting in AutoCAD, including conversion of legacy sets
- Structural Revit modeling — concrete, steel and timber framing
- Redline markup amendments, returned against your marked-up drawings
- DD and CD stage drawings, including general arrangements, sections and details
Where we come in
Structural production work is heaviest once the scheme is settled, so that is usually where we start.
- Conceptual and schematic design. Framing laid into a model early, so the layout can be tested against the architecture before it hardens.
- Design development. The structural model built out properly — members, connections and openings — and checked against the architectural and services models.
- Construction documentation. GA drawings, sections, schedules and details produced from the model, with revisions handled through your markups.
