Our Process

Outsourced production goes wrong in a predictable way: work starts before anyone has agreed what “finished” looks like, and the mismatch only surfaces at delivery. We front-load that conversation. By the time we are in production, you have already seen and approved a piece of the actual output.

1. You send us what you have

Drawings, a model, a registered point cloud, a PDF set, or a markup on the back of an existing sheet. Whatever stage you are at. If you have a deliverable specification or a sample of your own output, send that too — it tells us more than a brief usually does.

2. We come back with a written quotation

Scope, the hourly rate, and a firm delivery date. If something in what you have sent is missing or ambiguous, we say so at this point rather than guessing and billing for the guess. Nothing starts until you have approved the quotation.

3. We agree the standards before production starts

Your template and title block, layer and naming conventions, the level of development, and the tolerance you have committed to your own client. For scan work, how deviation is handled where a wall is out of plumb or a slab is not flat. These are the decisions that are expensive to change later, so we make them first.

4. You approve a sample

One floor, one zone, or one drawing, produced to the standard we agreed. You review it and tell us what is wrong before we take the rest of the project to the same standard. This step is the whole reason the later stages run quietly.

5. Production

The rest of the work is produced against the approved sample. You have a named point of contact and can ask for progress at any point — our hours overlap the working day in both the United States and the United Kingdom, so a question asked at the end of your day usually has an answer by the start of the next.

6. Quality check before issue

Every deliverable is checked against your standards and back against the source data before it leaves us. On coordination work, that includes re-running the clash detection so the report you receive matches the model you receive.

7. Delivery and revisions

Issued in the formats you work in — RVT, IFC, DWG, DXF, NWC or PDF. Revisions arising from our own errors are corrected without further charge; changes to scope are quoted before we start them. Our Service Delivery Policy sets out the detail.

What we need from you

• The source material, and who issued each part of it
• Your template, title block and layer standards
• A sample of your own output, so we can match your conventions
• The level of development and the tolerance you have committed to
• Your programme, so our delivery date fits inside it

How we charge

Work is billed hourly, from US$18 per hour, with the final rate quoted per engagement. Quotations are given in writing before work begins, and invoices can be paid by card in USD, GBP, EUR or INR through our payment page.
